Typical Reaction to Tonite's Driveway Course
Snap on your chinstraps, Holland Racing, always ready to mix it up, lays out an interesting new twist to this weeks Crit at The Driveway. This new never before used course variation uses the bottom speed loop, up the corkscrew, in front of the shop house, then back down. A wicked technical variation to the lower Ladies Night Speed Loop. Instead of climbing the corkscrew and making the immediate right to charge back down the frontside hill straightaway, we’ll climb out as if doing the top loop then make a 280 degree V turn behind the house to another 90 degree turn back to the frontside downhill stretch. This should be interesting.
I’d guess it won’t be a good idea to be mid-pack on those top turns. There will be some rapid speed changes and pack blistering. Elbows will rub and tires will be touched. I’m also guessing there won’t be any resting on the downhill as folks will be out of the saddle and ripping the downhill after the tight technical turns on top. Willis can always be counted on to find new and unique ways to suffer for fun.
This course isn’t even on the Driveway website it’s so weird.
whoa sounds abit scary..
